A Week of Holiday Celebration

Let the countdown begin! Only one week until holiday break! Though this week can be long for students waiting for a break, it is full of holiday celebrations, so it is a week you wouldn’t want to miss. On Tuesday night, the Lower School students put on their annual holiday concert, and on Friday each student participates in Stop Hunger Now, filling bags with food for those in need. The All-School-Sing-A-Long also takes place Friday with all of the students participating in holiday songs and watching others perform. The Chinese exchange students also joined in on the festivities with their Chinese culture presentation. They taught us how to make (delicious) dumplings and drew traditional Chinese calligraphy. This was a great opportunity to learn about other cultures outside of the U.S. Overall, the week before holiday break was fun, exciting, and full of holiday cheer.
