The Senior Class as Celebrities

The Senior Class as Celebrities

Caroline Gay, Photographer

This week, Media Office members have helped choose which celebrity or famous personality most closely matches each student’s personality of the senior class! All of these creative matches are based on personality only, not looks! I hope you enjoy!

Macie Barnes as Phoebe from Friends

Macie Barnes is one of the sweetest, yet sassiest, not-afraid-to-speak-her-mind type of girl. She reminds us a lot of Phoebe from Friends because Macie loves making those around her smile! She is always looking to have fun and start new exciting adventures!

Sadie Blackshear as Eleanor Roosevelt

Just like Eleanor Roosevelt, Sadie is very diplomatic and holds strong opinions while also maintaining peace. She is classy, well put-together, and always strives to be her best self.

Jack Boucher as Ferris Bueller from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Always thinking up crazy ways to have fun and do things you would never think of, Jack’s creative personality is a lot like Ferris Bueller’s. He tries to do as much as possible through meeting new people and never failing to go on random adventures!

Mercer & Thomas Boyette as the Sprouse twins from Suite Life of Zack & Cody

While Thomas acts more like Cole Sprouse with a cool facade but also holds a deep intellectual side, Mercer closely matches Dylan Sprouse with his ongoing humor and confidence to say whatever he wants whenever he wants.

Jacob Braddy as Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights

If you ain’t first, you’re last. Jacob Braddy’s light-hearted humor makes him just as entertaining as Ricky Bobby. They both love to make the people around them laugh as hard as they possibly can, and as a result, people are naturally drawn to them.

Austin Brown as James Corden from Carpool Karaoke

Both Austin Brown and James Corden have the ability to hang out and have a good time with absolutely anyone! Austin is always in the mood for having a laugh and making the best of memories with the people he loves.

Tiffany Chandler as Awkwafina from Crazy Rich Asians

Tiffany Chandler is someone you can always go to for serious advice or just one big laugh. She is the definition of fearless, just as the funny character, Awkwafina, is from Crazy Rich Asians.

Lillie Daughtridge as Tyra Banks

Just like Tyra Banks, Lillie Daughtridge is never afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is. Sassy, feisty, but also friendly, Lillie closely embodies Tyra’s fun spirit.

Peyton David as Kevin Hart

Never scared to make a joke, (maybe one too many sometimes) Peyton David reminds me a lot of Kevin Hart. He’s always up for making those around him laugh, and he even loves giving himself a good laugh too.

Ethan Davis as Josh Duhamel in Life as We Know It

Just as Josh Duhamel works a sports broadcasting job and is entertaining to laugh at and listen to, Ethan Davis absolutely loves watching sports, playing them, and having a unique outlook on every situation he is in, making him interesting to be around.

Barrett Eidson as Blake Lively in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

Barrett Eidson, a naturally gorgeous girl, a soccer prodigy, and a go-to friend, reminds me of Blake Lively! In The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Blake Lively embarks on a journey to Mexico for a summer soccer camp…and if anyone is seen playing soccer around here, we all know it’s Barrett!

Taylor Eilers as Rihanna

Who better fits the personality of this sassy, successful woman who has the fierceness of a cheetah. Taylor Eilers work-work-work-work-work-works all day everyday. And if you have the audacity to do anything that bothers her, you better watch it! She’ll whip you right into shape real quick!

Christopher Gardner as Jordan Spieth

If anyone is most likely to go pro golf while being very discreet and low key, it’s definitely Christopher Gardner. He is like Jordan Spieth in that they both are lovable, independent, and talented. He’s kind of like a box of chocolates. You never know what he’s going to say.

Spencer Gardner as Indiana Jones

Spencer Gardner is an unforgettable, vivacious spirit of the senior class. His sharp mentality and focus (especially in video games and shooting) closely resembles Indiana Jones’s sense of fearlessness. Spencer is always up for a challenge and loves to have an adventure.

Caroline Gay as Carrie Underwood

Caroline is similar to Carrie Underwood in more than one way with their confidence and fashion sense have been shining since day one. Sharing a love for country music, their personalities match perfectly as they are both passionate about the things that are important to them. Multi-talented and unique, Caroline and Carrie Underwood are a perfect match.

Chandler Gazaway as Luke Combs

Ok, ok. We can all admit that this might be the closest fit. Not only does Chandler Gazaway love Luke Combs and looks up to him as a role model, but he also hold the same spirit and full-of-life personality about him that Luke does. They sort of reflect each other in every way: from the inside to the outside–to the music side!

Ansen Gong as Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos incredibly started amazon.com, and his net worth is currently around $112 billion. Ansen makes me think of Bezos not only because of his smart ideas but also his willingness to take a risk with hopes of creating a business success. One day, I envision Ansen being a big millionaire who started his own company or invented some type of gadget.

Jacob Gutshall as Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore

Jacob has a fight-or-flight mentality, and although he doesn’t have quite the same aggression that Happy Gilmore has, Jacob still cares about sports almost more than anything, and he lets people know it. His sense of humor closely matches Happy Gilmore as he strives to be as successful as possible!

Gabby Hickman as Kris Jenner

If anyone’s your boss, it’s Kris Jenner. Gabby is the go-to mom and manager in one of the grade! (aka: the “momager”) If you ever need anything, always look to Gabby for advice and help with your problems!

Tanner Jernigan as Willie Robertson, The Duck Commander

A skilled outdoorsman all around, a CEO, a clown, and a friend all in one is how I would describe both Tanner Jernigan and Willie Robertson. We all know that Tanner is going to grow up to do some great things…and I’m sure he will probably have his hunting dog beside him through it all.

Paul Larimer as Jason Bateman in Identity Thief

Paul is definitely the most likely one in our grade that would get caught in a funny, bad situation. When Jason Bateman’s identity is stolen, he goes on a hilarious journey to get things back to normal. Paul is a clumsy type of funny like Jason Bateman–and he knows it.

Marina Meffen as Dr. Miranda Bailey from Grey’s Anatomy

Marina Meffen both loves and is great at being in control and having authority to be a leader. Just like Dr. Bailey, Marina knows when to be serious and when to be funny. She is a distinguished, smart person who keeps things in order for everyone.

Charlie Miller as Ben Stiller “Greg Focker” in Meet The Parents

Comical, daring, Jewish, and most importantly, sincere, Charlie Miller reminds me a lot of Greg Focker in this series of movies. He makes those around him laugh contagiously–whether he was being intentional or not! Charlie loves to even laugh at himself sometimes, and that’s a big reason why we all love his sweet and hilarious personality.

Kayla Miller as Aquamarine from Aquamarine

Aside from the fact that Kayla Miller is basically a mermaid and plans to carry out her fun swimming adventures in Utah next year, Kayla and Aquamarine are so alike in character! They both have a sense of wittiness and amusement, and most importantly, they are both down-to-earth and value their friendships!

Georgia Morris as Cristina Yang from Grey’s Anatomy

Georgia Morris has a type of calm, collected nature that catches people off guard. Just like Cristina Yang, Georgia takes people by surprise everyday through her smart jokes and stellar intelligence. She always has an admirable friendliness to her that draws people to her.

Averi Parker as youtuber, MyLifeAsEva

Averi can easily be compared to MyLifeAsEva because of her bubbly personality and positive spirit! If anyone in the senior class is likely to be a DIY-queen and online fashion guru, it’s Averi.

Thorne Pruden as Joey Tribbiani from Friends

Joey and Thorne have almost an identical sense of humor. Sarcasm is something that they both probably couldn’t go a day without using. Thorne is a silly person and sincerely enjoys entertaining the people around him. He also loves sandwiches!

Josh Rich as Warren Buffet

Josh Rich is the Wall Street dreamer of the grade. The man is as quick as a whip and a financial genius. Warren Buffett is famous for being a money savvy stock market extraordinaire, making Josh the perfect Warren Buffett of the grade.

Chuck Roberson as Gordon Ramsay from Hell’s Kitchen

You wouldn’t know it, but Chuck loves cooking and is a natural born chef. He is like Gordon Ramsay in this regard, but also in his unmistakable and hilarious personality that he exudes. Don’t worry though! Chuck is much nicer than the Gordon Ramsay that we all know.

Woodall Rose as Matthew McConaughey in Fool’s Gold

Woodall is the type of person that you can instantly look at, and he immediately makes you smile! Woodall will always remain a little kid at heart, just like Matthew McConaughey. He likes to goof off and be himself no matter who is watching.

Haven Ross as Emma Watson

Emma Watson is a model human being and leader in every aspect. From her talents in acting and singing, her outspoken views on the underprivileged, and a down to earth personality, it is hard to not compare her to our Haven!

Juhi Salunke as Dr. Chi Park from House

Dr. Chi Park is an impressive, young female doctor who is basically a genius! I can definitely see Juhi becoming a big, spectacular doctor someday. Juhi, just like Dr. Park, is very unique and has a distinct way of thinking about things. Her hints of humor are witty, and her problem-solving techniques allow her to be creative.

Isabel Smith as Anna Kendrick from Pitch Perfect

Isabel Smith, just like Anna Kendrick, is confident in every aspect of her life–especially when it comes to doing her own thing. Isabel has so much natural talent and beauty, just as Anna Kendrick does. Isabel is her own person, and she doesn’t let anyone change that about her!

Morgan Spivey as Dodie Clark

Morgan might come off as quiet, but she holds opinions, views, and ideas that she isn’t afraid to share. She expresses her views in a calm, sophisticated way that reaches people.

Will Stewart as Dennis the Menace

Will Stewart is a one-of-a-kind in every way you can think possible. He loves to have a good time–even if that means getting into trouble every once in a while–because he lives for having fun.

Dalton Tharrington as Larry the Cable Guy

This is pretty self-explanatory, but Larry the Cable Guy and Dalton Tharrington are so similar in various ways–from that southern accent to great humor to playing the voice of Tow Mater from Cars! Dalton is always there for his friends…whether he is there to support them or there to tow their car!

Isaiah Thomas as Maui from Moana

Although Maui at first comes off as a big tough guy, he is actually a big teddy bear and a clown in one. Isaiah Thomas lives for laughing, and once you get to know him, just like Maui, you’ll soon realize that he has a sincerely sweet side!

Ann Sumner Thorp as Julie Andrews

From The Sound of Music to The Princess Diaries, Julie Andrews always has a prim and proper, down-to-earth personality. Ann Sumner perfectly fits her classy character! She is a distinguished young woman and one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet.

Stephen Tucker as Mr. Bean

“Mr. Bean turns the most ordinary situations into moments of excruciating embarrassment.” Stephen Tucker can make an entire class bust out in laughter from a mere sound of “mm.” His self-sufficient independence makes him stand out, and he closely reflects Mr. Bean’s spastic self.

Nathan Varnell as Chandler Bing from Friends

Nathan Varnell’s personality revolves so much around his sarcasm that closely mirrors Chandler Bing’s from Friends. He has a strong opinion about almost every subject you can think of, but he isn’t so serious about everything around the clock. The senior class loves to be around Nathan and laughing at all of his jokes.

Virginia Wooten as Cara Delevingne

Just as Cara is a strong individualist, Virginia takes pride in being her own person! She is very confident, sarcastic, smart, and energetic. She lights up the senior room on a daily basis with smiles and laughs that make Mrs. Andracchio yell at us for being too loud.

Ashley Wright as Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality

Ashley Wright is an intelligent, independent, and let’s not forget hilarious, one of a kind girl. Just like Sandra Bullock, I can perfectly envision Ashley making a witty remark and putting someone in their place who deserves it! She doesn’t let anyone stand in her way of doing her job!

Jack Wu as Mr. Leslie Chow from The Hangover

Although it’s easy to first recognize that Mr. Chow and Jack Wu have similar ethnic backgrounds, it goes so far beyond that aspect to reach how close Jack Wu embodies Mr. Chow’s character. Jack is always up for doing fun things with his friends, and his sense of humor almost perfectly embodies Mr. Chow.
