Senior+Spotlight%3A+Connor+Daughtridge

This week’s Senior Spotlight features a senior known for her contagious and ever-present laugh, Connor Daughtridge. Connor is without a doubt the most down to earth person that has ever graced the Rocky Mount Academy halls. She is honest, hardworking, and a true joy to be around. Her determination is first evidenced through her work in the classroom. Whenever there is a major project due, Connor never fails to be the first person to jump on it and complete it. Connor has been in National Honor Society since the 10th grade, takes both Honors and AP classes and has been on the Honor roll throughout high school. She is involved in a variety of activities such as Key Club, Debate Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and she also works in After School Care at RMA. Connor played volleyball for two years, during her sophomore and junior years and is also the President of the STARS Tutoring. In addition to school-related activities, Connor is heavily involved in her church, First Baptist Church of Rocky Mount, and is an avid hunter. At her church Connor volunteers a few hours after school every Wednesday to tutor kids who struggle academic-wise at Williford Elementary School.
