Faculty Focus: Mrs. Gayle High

Faculty Focus: Mrs. Gayle High

Julia High, Marketing Chair

This week the subject of the Faculty Focus is Athletic Director, Gayle High. Mrs. High first joined the RMA family in 1992 when she was a kindergarten teacher half the day and then switched to a P.E. Coach for the second half. During these years, she also coached basketball and soccer teams, winning several conference championships. In 1999, she stopped teaching to stay at home and raise her two children. In these years, although she was not officially a part of the RMA faculty, she was very involved by being a board member, an auction chair, and doing much more to support the RMA community. In 2010, she officially came back taking over the Learning Resource Center where she tutored middle and lower school children for 3 years. In 2013, she took her current positon as AD where she currently spends countless hours making sure all the athletic programs run smoothly. RMA is very fortunate to have such a great person doing such amazing things on campus for all these years. To learn more about Mrs. High, check out the interview below.
