Week of Warmth at RMA

Virginia Feagans, Co-Editor

The Parent Organization organized a week of warmth for all of the teachers at RMA from November 29-December 3rd in order to show appreciation for all of the work they do. There were different items available in the teachers lounge all week for the teachers to have, and they varied day to day.

On Monday, there was a variety of breakfast items for the teachers to snack on during breaks, such as muffins and pastries, and other tasty options. On Tuesday, there were casseroles that teachers could take home to enjoy with their families. School supplies, such as pens and dry erase markers, were available for pick up on Wednesday, and many teachers were very excited about them (especially the dry erase markers). Thursday brought soups in individual sized portions that could be taken home. On Friday, the teachers lounge was filled with sweet treats such as cookies and brownies to thank teachers for how “sweet” they have been this year.

The teachers at Rocky Mount Academy have done so much for their students this year. They have worked so hard to provide all of the students the best education possible and deserve our utmost respect. The Parent Organization also deserves a big thank you for making this week so special and fun for our RMA teachers!
