Movies to Watch During Quarantine

Being back home is not ideal for most of us. But as a way to kill time, here are a few movie recommendations that you can watch during quarantine.

  1. Knives Out – If you are on the lookout for a clever mystery-comedy that will keep you at the edge of your seat, then I totally recommend this movie.

  1. 21 Bridges – If you love Chadwick Boseman and intense thrillers, then definitely watch this movie (especially since it is less than two hours long).

  1. The Great Outdoors – If you like a disaster-vacation comedy, then watch this movie. For the parents, it will bring back memories of their past.

  1. The Parent Trap – Whether it be the original or the remake with Lindsay Lohan, I recommend you watch this movie; your home has basically become the isolation cabin!

  1. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – There is not much to say about this movie, except that it is one of the best in history. The movie is mixed with enjoyable moments and the king of the “smart kid/dumb parent” trend.

  1. He’s Just Not That Into You – The movie gives a lively look to relationships, so if you are in the mood for a romantic comedy, definitely watch this movie.

  1. My Girl – This movie deals with the discussion of death and single parenthood with children, and the way they handle it is in a mature fashion. If you are in search of a good cry, I recommend this movie.

  1. Silence of the Lambs – If you want to watch a mesmerizing thriller with a touch of psychological fears being brought into reality, then watch this classic movie if you are up for it.

  1. Rocketman – If you are a music fanatic, then definitely watch this movie. It shows a look into Elton John’s life while incorporating his music throughout the movie.

  1. Five Feet Apart – This movie is both beautiful and suspenseful while being a tear-jerker at the same time. It leaves a lasting message, though it is mainly about surgery and disease.
