As an avid unicorn-lover and basketball fan, the hallways of RMA would not be the same without the presence of Madison Glover. Having come to Rocky Mount Academy in ninth grade, Madison’s contributions to the school can be seen on as well as off the court. A stroll through the hallway during break or lunch will most likely include running into Madison, oftentimes hearing her laughing and joking before you ever see her. From her spot on Miranda Sings impression, to her love for the (debatably) mythical creatures, Madison’s easygoing and humorous personality gives off one of the most fun-loving forces in the 2018 senior class. Malone Bondy comments, “The first day Madison came to RMA in ninth grade I knew we were going to be friends! She has a smile that will light up whatever room she’s in!”

Starting off with her athletic abilities:  Madison has played on both the girls softball and basketball teams since coming to RMA, her speed and agility making her an integral member of the teams. Moving into the academic realm, Madison’s hard work in the classroom and on her college applications have seemed to pay off as she has recently committed to High Point University! Madison plans to study criminal justice and we know that she with her determination that she will excel at anything she puts her mind to!

Although her numbers, figures, and extracurriculars prove impressive, it is Madison’s overall personality which truly present her as a leading force at RMA. Her joyful, upbeat nature is one that I can always count on to see and the smiles that she brings to those around her are unmatched. Teammate and friend Bhavisha Gulabrai says, “Madison has been such a special addition to our grade. From being a shoulder to cry on to getting excited before a basketball game, she’s always there to make me smile. She’s full of love and has a very lively spirit and I’m going to miss her so much next year. High Point is really lucky to get someone like her!” As she heads out next fall to join the High Point University Panthers, RMA will definitely miss Madison, but be content in knowing that she will share her happy, cheerful personality and love for unicorns with all those she comes into contact with.
