Making Twenty-Eighteen into Twenty-GREATteen: New Year’s Resolution

Haven Ross

The tradition of making New Year’s Resolutions has been carried on for over four thousand years, beginning with the Babylonians making promises to their gods to correct their wrongdoings at the beginning of each year. The idea of ringing in a new year with new goals has managed to stay around for centuries, which shows that humans as a whole still believe in personal betterment for a brighter future. Resolutions can range from drinking more water to opening a door for someone every day. People of all ages can set goals for 2018. Read below for some of the resolutions set by students and faculty at RMA!
