The RMA football team “kicked-off” the year with a great win against Bethel! The sidelines were packed with excited teachers, parents, and fellow students ready to cheer their team to victory. Each member of the team contributed to the awesome win of 55 to 16. Offensively, Oliver Bissett and Trey Smelcer both had touchdown receptions, and Caleb Lambert rushed for one touchdown. Isaiah Thomas contributed an all-around great game consisting of two passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, and made three interceptions (returning one for a touchdown). Jacob Braddy rounded out the scoring with one rushing and one receiving touchdown. Defensively, Jarrett Snipes forced a fumble, and Daniel Cooper led the team in tackles. RMA is looking forward to a great football season this year! Come support your RMA eagles as they G-O, F-I-G-H-T, W-I-N!
