Senior Spotlight: Tyson Jones
This week’s senior spotlight features honor roll student and stand out athlete, Tyson Jones. Tyson is an RMA lifer and has definitely made a lasting impact during his 14 years here. Tyson has been a crucial member and leader on the Varsity football and baseball teams. He has helped lead the football team to back to back state championships his freshman and sophomore years and is a key player on both offense and defense. On the baseball field, Tyson is known for his spot at second base along with his big bat at the plate. His athletic talent has not gone unnoticed as Tyson received All – Conference in football 10th ,11th, and 12th grade years, All – Conference for baseball his junior year, and he was even named on the All – State team his senior year. While everyone knows Tyson for his work on the athletic fields, not everyone knows about Tyson’s volunteer work with the Enfield fire department. He has been volunteering with the fire department since he was 16. He has spent countless hours and long nights with the fire department helping out and making a difference in his community. In the rest of Tyson’s free time or in the summers, you can find him outdoors. He loves to hunt, fish, and work outside. Tyson’s ability to make anyone laugh, strong personality, and of course his ginormous truck will all be missed on campus next year, but we know he will go on to do great things, and we wish him the best!
