Senior Spotlight: Christopher Rabil

This week’s senior spotlight features a standout athlete and contribution to the senior class, Christopher Rabil. Christopher joined the RMA family in 1st grade and has made a lasting impression during his time here. Christopher’s ever present smile and gracious attitude is what makes him the approachable, fun loving guy that is loved by so many across campus. Christopher is a hit among his peers as well as in the lower school. Whether he’s helping out in a lower school P.E. class, walking through the court yard, or at a sporting event, it’s almost a given that a lower schooler is trailing Christopher by his heels, eager for a hug or high five. Like always, with everyone he encounters, he greets his admirers with a big grin.

While we all know Christopher as this happy, kind friend, his opponents on the field would definitely disagree. Since Christopher’s started his RMA sports career in the 7th grade it’s been hard not to notice him. He takes on every competition with 100% effort and naturally serves as a leaders for his teammates. As Christopher is very successful in basketball and baseball, his main claim to fame is on the football field. He’s been an important member of the varsity football team since the 9th grade and has played an important role in the team’s two state championships. He has also been named 1st team All – Conference and 1st team All – State. Christopher’s contributions to the athletic department do not stop at his talents on the field.  Christopher spent much of his time this fall alongside his dad diligently working on the new press box on the football field. While RMA is certainly sad to see Christopher Rabil go, we look forward to see what great things he does at ECU next year.
