Caitlyn Vester, Co-editor

This week’s Senior Spotlight features multi-sport athlete and National Honors Society member, Katie Gutshall. Aside from being an A student taking all AP and honors classes, Katie is also a star on the court and field. Katie is the captain of the varsity basketball, volleyball, and soccer teams and was even a graduation Marshall during her junior year. When she is not playing sports, outside of school Katie can be seen volunteering for Debu-ettes, Gatekeepers, Camp Merri Mac, or even taking pictures for the school yearbook. Katie’s time at RMA has been very fruitful as she has won many awards and achievements. In basketball, Katie received the coaches award her freshman year, all conference honorable mention and WCA all-tournament team her junior year, and team captain, RMA all-tournament team, and all-conference her senior year.
