Senior Spotlight: Noah Hux

This week’s senior spotlight includes RMA “lifer” Noah Hux, Rocky Mount Academy will truly miss him in the coming years. Noah is an avid soccer player and surfer. He is a huge asset to the RMA Varsity soccer team. Noah helped to anchor the defensive unit for the Varsity Eagles team, playing mainly right defender. Noah’s speed and decision making were vital to the defensive unit; he also contributed by making solid runs up the field to contribute to the offensive attack.

Noah also loves spending time at the beach. He has a fascination with marine biology, stemming from the amount of time he spends on the coast. He enjoys being outside and being active. He especially enjoys fishing off the beach and offshore, and can quickly identify species of fish. Noah also contributes to the community by helping his mother tutor younger students. He also has interests in skating and photography. Noah loves hanging out with friends and spending time with family. Although Noah will be moving on next year to bigger and better things, he will always call RMA home. Noah will be enrolled in the fall semester at Barton College. I don’t know yet.

What are some activities you enjoy outside of school?

Soccer.

South Park and the Office.

American Cultures.

What will you miss the most about RMA? The least?

The most, my friends.
