Senior Spotlight: Mackenzie Lambert

This week’s Senior Spotlight features Mackenzie Lambert, who has attended RMA since first grade. Mackenzie excels academically, taking a range of AP and Honors courses and maintaining membership of National Honor Society since her junior year. Her academic strengths made her a worthy recipient of the Joshua Weaver Scholarship as a senior. Mackenzie is also a competitive athlete, playing Varsity Volleyball from tenth through twelfth grade and Varsity Basketball in tenth grade. Throughout high school, Mackenzie has participated in international endeavors and has continued her love for other cultures through membership of the Global Studies Honors Program from ninth through twelfth grade. In the summer of 2014, she traveled to Costa Rica with other members of the program from RMA and also traveled to France with Ms. O’Brien during spring break of her junior year.

Do you have any nicknames?
Not really, some people call me Mack but that’s about it.
What kind of music is on your Spotify?
Mainly pop and country
Have you decided where you are going to college?
I’m not sure yet. Either ECU or Meredith College
If you already know, what would you like to study in college?
I am thinking about Psychology
What are your biggest pet peeves?
Slow walkers
What are some activities you enjoy outside of school?
Going to the gym and hanging out with friends
What is your favorite TV show?
I love the Bachelor!
What was your favorite class at RMA?
Probably Algebra 2 with Mrs. Helms
What will you miss the most about RMA? The least?
I will definitely miss the teachers the most and the small classes
What is something you are proud of accomplishing at RMA?
I think I am most proud of winning the Robert Joshua Weaver Scholarship last year!
