Senior Spotlight: Annie Larimer

Anna Scott Wingfield, Photographer

This week’s senior Spotlight features Annie Larimer, who is a very involved student at both Rocky Mount Academy and in the community. Academically, Annie is a strong student who has taken and excelled in AP and Honors Classes and has been accepted to High Point University as a result of her hard work. She was even awarded Excellence in Digital Photography in 2015.

Annie is very involved in community service and has participated in Gatekeepers Work Camp, Hugs camp (where she won the helper’s award), and Benvenue kids’ camp over her summer breaks. Also, as a member of the Debu-ette club all through high school, she has completed numerous service projects, one of which was ringing the Salvation Army Bell. Annie is also very involved in her church where she has served as an acolyte, reader, and Bible School Volunteer for many years.

At Rocky Mount Academy, Annie is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club and has continually served as a key player in Volleyball and Soccer since 2012. Rocky Mount Academy will miss her, but there is no doubt that she will continue to do great things representing our school in a positive way!
