This week’s Senior Spotlight is Bell Rose, a member of the RMA community since 4th grade. Belle is a face everyone knows and loves around RMA because of her remarkable leadership ability and selflessness in and around RMA.

Belle was the first senior admitted into college, as she recently found out she got into Meredith after applying for their binding decision. Meredith, Belle’s first college choice, will be her home for the next 4 years as she hopes to pursue a career in teaching. It does not come as a surprise that Belle was admitted, as she partaken in numerous AP and Honors classes throughout high school and has won a handful of academic awards, such as A/B Honor Roll every year and Highest Academic Averages in English 11 and U.S. History.

Not only does she succeed in the classroom, but she is a leader in and around the RMA community. Belle has been a member of FCA since 9th grade, and has become one of the most influential members in the club. She has also been the Editor of the Yearbook staff both 11th grade and 12th grade, and started the Screaming Eagles club in 9th grade to show her school spirit. Outside of RMA, she has participated in numerous volunteer work, such as Gatekeepers, Salvation Army, and teaching Sunday School at First United Methodist Church.

What are some activities you enjoy outside of school?

Working, shopping, hanging out with friends and going to target

What will you miss the most about RMA? 

I will miss the awesome lunch ladies the most probably, and of course the amazing football team.

What class have you enjoyed the most at RMA?

Definitely American Culture, I highly recommend it to everyone, it should be required… it’s awesome! But yearbook is a close second

Do you have any nicknames?

No, not really! Belle is short enough

Have you decided what colleges you are applying to?

I only applied to Meredith College and was accepted two weeks ago, so I will be going there!

What is on your Spotify?

Lots of Christmas music!! (Especially Mariah Carey)

If you could be the best at any one thing, what would it be?

Making money

If you were stranded on an island with only your clothes and three other things, what would they be?

Peanut butter M&M’s, Disney movies, and Goldfish (extra cheddar of course)
