Whether you spent your time traveling or relaxing by the pool, almost everyone was listening to these top hits. Here is Media Office’s top 10 hits of the summer:
- Major Lazer & DJ Snake: “Lean On” (feat. MØ) – This summer banger was commonly heard on the radio and was one of the top downloads of the summer.
- OMI: “Cheerleader” (Felix Jaehn remix) – A favorite of the girls varsity tennis team, this catchy hit was heard almost everywhere this summer!
- The Weeknd: “The Hills” – This new addition to The Weeknd’s new album was a definite sensation this summer.
- Walk the Moon: “Shut up and Dance” – This upbeat jam was hard to miss this summer being played very often for many different audiences.
- The Weeknd: “Can’t Feel my Face “ – Even though this hit had a late start to the summer, not coming out until late July, it was a huge success showing up on almost all countdown and pop radio stations.
- Shawn Mendes: “Stitches” – This catchy toon has the potential to get stuck in your head for hours!
- Skrillex and Diplo: “Where are ü now (feat. Justin Bieber) – Although teenage girls everywhere were very disappointed about Justin Bieber’s part in this new hit, this song was a definite success this summer.
- Wiz Khalifa: “See you again” (feat. Charlie Puth) – This powerful song served as a Eulogy for “Fast and Furious” star Paul Walker. Although it was a sad, emotional song for many, this song could not have been avoided this summer.
- Taylor Swift: “Bad Blood” (Feat. Kendrick Lamar) – When this unlikely pair combined to perform this hit, it was a definite phenomenon in the music industry. This was a large contribution to Taylor’s new success in pop music.
- Fetty Wap: “Trap Queen” – Fetty Wap himself was a huge hit this summer starting with “Trap Queen”, which was played on the radio almost non – stop and one of the top downloads on iTunes of the summer.
