Super Bowl Sunday Prep
February 10, 2023
The most anticipated night in football is finally here, and whether you’re throwing the party or attending one, there’s lots of prep that goes into enjoying your Super Bowl Sunday.
One of the most essential pieces of a good Super Bowl party is the food. Finger foods are optimal for filling your plate quickly and getting back to the game. Many parties are potluck-style these days, so here are some of the best foods to bring to your game-day watching party:
- Nachos: A perfect game day snack with a large variety of different toppings to choose from – here’s a link to 7 kinds of game day nachos that are sure to be a hit! Personally, I think the loaded nachos are a perfect fit for any party.
- Wings: Another Super Bowl staple, you can never go wrong with wings – find a link to all the wing recipes you could ever need! If you don’t feel like cooking, there are many takeout options available, like Buffalo Wild Wings, that have a wide variety of flavors, from mango habanero to barbeque.
- Dip: Arguably the easiest finger food to grab between plays, here’s a recipe for Pizza Dip that will keep everyone coming back for more!
If nothing on this list has your mouth watering, check out these 60 Super Bowl recipes that are sure to impress any guest–I recommend the fried mac and cheese bites!
If you want to spice up your party even more, you can buy plates or napkins for your team of choice at basically any party store. To make things a little more interesting, especially for some of the kids, you could create a game where everyone enters a pool with their guess of the score or who will win, and whoever is closest at the end wins the entire pool or just bragging rights.
Another important aspect of your Super Bowl Sunday is your team gear. No matter which team you’re pulling for, you need to be dressed accordingly. Fanatics has all the game day gear you could dream of and more, and I know I’ll be wearing Eagles gear!
Super Bowl LVII will see the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, February 12 at 6:30. In 2017, the Eagles won their first Super Bowl title, whereas this will be the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl appearance in the last four seasons. Both teams have touched down in Phoenix and are busy preparing for the game, and now it’s time for you to prep to watch.
