Prom season is officially upon us, so it’s time for dress hunting! Your main goal should always be to feel confident and comfortable in what you’re wearing, whether that means you’re following the trends or not. However, if you are shopping for trends, here are some popular styles this year to help take the stress out of the dress.

Marta Topran, a lead fashion and beauty creator, says, “Airy styles like lace, tulle, ruffles, and shimmer are rising for 2023.” This Gianni Bini Dress fits that description perfectly! 

If ruffles and tulle are a little too much for you, then let’s talk about colors. This year’s most popular prom dress colors are gold, silver, neon pink, and fuschia. If you’re more of a subtle girl, then colors such as light pink, beach, and baby blue are also in high demand!

A little bit on the pricier side, but always keeping up with the trends, is Revolve. From a simple maxi dress to glitter and feathers, they have it all! Some of my favorites from Revolve include this Athena Maxi Dress and this beautiful blue June Gown, but they have plenty to choose from.

Another popular site is David’s Bridal. While most people think of this as a wedding store, they carry a wide variety of formal dresses, including prom dresses. My favorites from David’s Bridal are the Satin Mermaid Trumpet Dress dress in the color Horizon and Glitter Illusion lace A-Line Dress which is a beautiful navy, sparkly dress.
