The first senior spotlight for the 2016-2017 school year was gladly given to the most loving and caring person on campus, Hannah Strickland. With her bubbly personality, warm smile, and witty puns she is sure to make you laugh and brighten your day! Not only is she amazing on the inside, but Hannah is also a very dedicated student.  She maintains a steady A/B average in all her classes and loves to study art and French.

Never in life will you find a person more excited and passionate about life and all of its’ experiences as Hannah. Her main loves include baking and spending time with kids. She aspires to become a teacher, which makes sense as she worked in RMA afterschool care in the 9th grade and also volunteered at Camp Hope and her church’s vacation bible school for many years. Her vivacity is also evident on the football field and basketball courts where she has been a cheerleader for all four years of her high school career. Hannah even won the Coach’s Award in cheer in the 9th grade for her enthusiasm. Around school, Hannah is known for her astounding baking ability. Never will you find a cookie or brownie, or even a cookie brownie, that tastes better than hers! If the teaching career doesn’t work out, Hannah could certainly make a living selling her baked goods! Along with her interests in baking and children, Hannah also participates in many school clubs such as; Academy Rescue Foundation, Science Olympiad, and STARS tutoring.
