10. Athletes

Dressing up as an athlete is one of the simplest and most affordable costumes! Bring out an old football jersey or soccer socks and cleats, grab a ball, and you are all set! People of all ages, from kids to adults, dress up as athletes. Basketball, Soccer, Football, Tennis, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Swimming, and no sport is left out! You can even dress up as a professional player, or just a normal jock. The options are limitless with this outfit!

9. Opposite Sex

Dressing up as the opposite sex is inexpensive and hilarious! Guys, bring out the red high heels, yellow sundresses, and lip gloss! Girls, ball caps, saggy cargo shorts, and a T-shirt are the way to go! You don’t have stick to teen years, opposite sex old people and babies are fun too! So many options to choose from!

8. Nerd

You can never go wrong with putting on goofy glasses with tape in the middle, tight shorts, button up shirt, and suspenders! Fake teeth are a plus! Don’t forget the nerd walk and talk, those make the costume! Nerds Rule!!

7. Fairy Tale Story Characters

Every little girl’s lifelong dream is to dress up as their favorite character like Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks or Pocahontas. But who said it had to be just girls?! Guys can dress up as Aladdin, the Prince, the Big Bad Wolf, a bear, a pig, or even a frog! Go as traditional characters, or put your own spin on it. That’s right, Red Riding Hood Ninja, Jasmine Assassin, and Zombie Pocahontas! Go as a group, or solo, these outfits will never fail to be spectacular!

6. Zombies

The Walking Dead, World War Z, etc., what would Halloween be like without zombies? Dressing as a zombie is fairly inexpensive. Grab a ripped shirt and jeans, some fake blood, and you are good to go! Get some friends together, put on zombie makeup, and go scare little kids as a group. What a bonding experience!

5. Frozen

Although the Frozen costumes were a major hit last year, Olaf, Elsa, and Anna are still going to make a vast appearance this Halloween! As the premiere of Star Wars: Episode VII on December 18th is close approaching, many people are expressing their anticipation and excitement and dressing up as their favorite Star Wars’ characters. The popularity of the Minions has grown and is still continuing to grow today. Not only are they covering the TV screen, almost everyone has watched all the movies the Minions’ have stared in including: Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, and Minions, but they have gone on to songs, ringtones, and music videos! Make this playful costume yourself with classic overalls, a yellow hoodie, and the famous Minion glasses, or buy your own!
